Google Account information — your name, email address, and profile photo, collected when you sign in with Google.
Role information — whether you are a developer or tester on our platform.
App listings — app name, description, package name, and opt-in links submitted by developers.
Screenshot proofs — screenshots uploaded by testers as proof of app installation.
Testing history — records of which apps you have tested as a tester.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and operate the BetaHive platform
Match developers with testers
Display your profile information to other users where relevant
Allow developers to verify tester installations via screenshot proofs
Improve and maintain the app

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services, including:

Firebase Firestore — stores user profiles, app listings, and testing records
Firebase Storage — stores screenshot proof images uploaded by testers
Firebase Authentication — manages secure sign-in via Google

All data is stored on Google's secure servers and subject to Google's data protection standards.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share limited information in the following cases:

Your name, email, and profile photo may be visible to developers whose apps you test, as part of the proof verification process.
App listing information submitted by developers is visible to all testers on the platform.
We may share data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Google Sign-In

BetaHive uses Google Sign-In for authentication. By signing in with Google, you agree to Google's Privacy Policy available at policies.google.com/privacy. We only access your basic profile information (name, email, profile photo).

6. Screenshots and Proof Images

Screenshots uploaded as proof of installation are stored in Firebase Storage and are accessible to the developer of the specific app you are testing. These images are not shared publicly and are only used for verification purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below. Upon deletion, your personal information will be removed from our systems within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

BetaHive is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account
